We realise that the current situation in the world, regarding Coronavirus, is a scary one for us all. That’s why we are taking additional safety measures at the studio to make sure that we continue to provide the safest possible environment for you and your family, as well as for ourselves.
Because we work closely with many different age groups, from newborn babies through to our more mature clients, we have always maintained a high level of hygiene at the studio – all our baby props, blankets, toys etc are used as dedicated items per individual sessions and then washed (where possible) or disinfected before being used again. In the case of our newborn sessions, this is one reason why we limit the number of newborn photoshoots we offer each week, so we can make sure this is done thoroughly to give you (and us) peace of mind. We have been awarded the Master Photographer’s Association Certificate for Newborn Safety for the past three years; it’s part of our ongoing commitment to our client’s health and safety and something that everyone in our team is passionate about.
Please don’t be offended if we ask you to wash your hands when you arrive at the studio, we’ll be doing the same thing too before your session begins. Likewise, although we’ll be very pleased to see you, we think it best, at the current time, to avoid handshakes and will keep contact to a minimum.
Hand sanitiser will be available to use throughout the session, for both yourself (and family) and your photographer.
If you or anyone in your family who is coming along to the session feels unwell (even mildly), please contact us as soon as you can to reschedule your appointment (this is in accordance with our “normal” studio policy). If anyone coming along on the day of your appointment is showing signs of a cough, fever or any symptoms of a virus, we will ask to postpone the appointment with no exceptions. Likewise, if you become ill within 7 days of visiting us, please let us know so we can take appropriate action.
After each session, we will allow time to thoroughly clean through and sanitise studio areas etc, so please bear with us if this is in progress when you arrive for your appointment.
We hope, in return, to stay fit and healthy so that we can continue to create beautiful images for you and your family to enjoy. But in the event that we become unwell, we will, of course, let you know immediately. It is far safer to rearrange an appointment than it is to risk a vulnerable person’s health.
Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
