Bump & Newborn

Our bespoke service is all about taking unique, personal images just for you – preserving those most precious of moments in time just for you.

Our warm, comfortable and welcoming baby safe studio (we have just been awarded the Master Photographers Association Certificate for New Born Safety for the third year running) is the perfect place to relax and enjoy this special time in your life, as you get used to being a family.

From baby bump  through to sleepy new-borns and onto the tentative first steps from adventurous toddlers, we’ve been creating photographs to treasure of the most precious members of your family for over 29 years.

We realise that getting photographs taken of the newest member of your family may not be high on your list of priorities, especially when you’re just getting to know each other (not to mention the fact that even trying to leave the house becomes like a military exercise!) but it’s amazing just how quickly those first weeks go by and your baby won’t be tiny for long.

Newborn sessions normally take place within the first 2 weeks of your baby being born.  This is so we can capture those soft, curled, sleepy images that your baby will soon grow out of.  We can provisionally book these sessions based on your due date – this is particularly important to do as we only have a limited number of newborn sessions available each week. We know that babies rarely arrive on time (they’re always trying to catch us out!) so don’t worry if we have to rearrange appointments if your baby is earlier or later than expected.

If you feel you would like to take a maternity photoshoot session, in the last few weeks of your pregnancy (we recommend the last 6 – 8 weeks, as a guide) as a lasting reminder of your pregnancy curves, please call us as soon as possible.

You can book an appointment for any of our photoshoots through our 24 hour online diary  (handy if you’re doing a night feed!) or please feel free to call the studio on 01249 816707 (although not manned 24/7, we do have an answerphone), if you have any questions at all.
